(Meditating on Psalm 44)
“On fire” Christians can’t seem to stop boasting on God and His mighty deeds that He has wrought, not only in the pulpit but in their daily lives.
In our Church, Jesus Miracle Crusade International Ministry, worship service runs for 8 hours on Sundays and Friday overnight and 5 hours on Wednesdays. Much of the time is spent in testimonies. Because of this, one would go home full of the Lord’s testimonies of His healing miracles and wondrous works.
I, for one, have stored up these amazing testimonies in what I call my treasure trove, and this is securely kept in my heart. Whenever I feel doubts and weaknesses creeping in, I recall these testimonies in mind and I’m strengthened. God’s testimonies are so precious to me that I created a blog to boast on them and share them with other Christians to help strengthen their faith and with people who are in need of salvation – Minister of Mercy: A Treasure Trove of God’s Miracles, Wonders, and Mighty Deeds.
Your testimonies are wonderful;
Therefore my soul keeps them. (Ps. 119:129)
Whenever my beloved mother and my older sister come to visit, I take delight in sharing with them these testimonies, and they, in turn, tell them to our relatives, friends and neighbors back in the province. The same thing happens when my youngest brother or niece come to visit.
When my lady anesthesiologist visited my hospital room before I delivered my son via CS, I testified to her how the Lord had saved me, restored my family and partially healed me from the illness that almost took my life without medical interventions or medicines.
I will speak of Your testimonies also before kings,
And will not be ashamed. (Ps. 119:46)
Whenever and wherever, the Holy Spirit stirs us to give glory to God for this is the very reason we were created (Is. 43:7).
