This weekend, though troubles are all around us, may we:
- Learn to focus our eyes only on the Lord Jesus Christ, resting in His love and peace, and mercy that endures. Learn to run to His secret place where there is quiet and where we can listen to His still small voice, soothing our frazzled nerves and ever guiding our every step. Believe that His mercies are new every morning, and therefore, our hope never ends.
It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. (Lam. 3: 22,23)
- Set Him up in our lives as our Lord of lords, and our King of kings, who is mighty to save, to deliver, to heal, to restore, to help us in any way we need His help.
Those who put their trust in the Lord will ALWAYS be blessed, and will never be dismayed nor be put to shame. May this TRUTH live in us, guiding us in all our ways through all our journeys. Amen.
